Peggy, a devout believer in Jesus Christ, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, surrounded by her children at her home. Born on July 6, 1953, in Wharton, Texas, Peggy spent her formative years in southern Louisiana and later moved to Midland, TX where she completed her education and pursued further studies.

Peggy dedicated her life to serving the Lord, finding solace in faith during tough times. She spread love and positivity, instilling each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends with profound joy. An unwavering servant of the church, she found strength in Mark 5:34 and continued to inspire faith in all she encountered.

Survived by her children Connie Claybrook (Wade), Catey Slusher (Jim), David Meek (Maribel), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings Mark Killion (Karen), Steve Killion (Peggy), Cheryl Richie, and a host of relatives and friends, Peggy's enduring legacy will be cherished.

A memorial service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Ellis Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Franklin presiding. In this time of loss, Psalms 34:18 remains a comforting reminder of God's presence.
