Freddie Esterlene Davis entered this world on November 11, 1943, in Ennis, Texas, born to Lillian Esterlene Davis and Roy Armstrong Jr. She grew up excelling in her studies and graduated from Woodson High School in Abilene, Texas. Freddie embraced her faith early on and was a member of New Light Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas, led by Rev. Hurd.

In 1959, Freddie married Arthur Ray Bryant, with whom she had three daughters. Following his passing, Freddie married Curtis Wayne Greene in 1966 and relocated to Midland, Texas. Under the guidance of Reverends Curry, Mitchell, and Vandyke, they found a spiritual home at Antioch Baptist Church.

Known for her dedication to serving individuals with disabilities and mental challenges, Freddie volunteered at the Opportunity Center and participated in the Special Olympics alongside her daughter Dinatta Yvette Bryant. She also spent 24 years working in private homes and nursing facilities, touching the lives of those in need.

In her journey, Freddie faced hardships, including the loss of her son Michael Wayne Greene and daughter Dinatta Bryant. However, she carried on with strength and resilience, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness. Freddie is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Greene; daughters Natalie Bryant Jordan, Phonecia Bryant Shelton (Bobby), and Lana Machele Thompson; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Freddie Esterlene Davis will be remembered for her selfless acts of service, unwavering devotion to her family, and her bright spirit that shone through her commitment to helping others.
