Midland, Texas - William Iverson Atchison, 62, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2024, in Midland, Texas. Born on March 18, 1962, in Lamesa, Texas, William was the beloved son of the late Eddie and Daisy Atchison. William’s infectious smile and boisterous laughter touched the lives of all who knew him.

After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, William went on to manage several restaurant locations before retiring. He was a devoted father and grandfather, survived by his daughters Tasha Harper, Shaquita Atchison, and Alecia Atchison, along with his 16 grandchildren. William is also survived by his siblings and a host of nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Atchison, his parents, and siblings Eddie Jr., Larry, Terry, and Sonia Lynette.

A visitation to honor William's memory will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Midland from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of William's life, officiated by Pastor Dennis Hodge Sr., will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to hospice and Pastor Dennis Hodge Sr. for their support during this difficult time. William's radiant smile and joyous laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
