Mayra Enriquez Cano Remembered for Love and Faith

Mayra Enriquez Cano, a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2024, at the age of 47.

Born on January 26, 1977, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Mayra later made her home in Odessa, Texas, where she built a life filled with love and dedication to her family.

A celebration of Mayra's life will take place at the American Heritage Funeral Home, with visitation on December 6, 2024. A church service will follow on December 7, 2024, at Life Unlimited Church, with burial at American Heritage Cemetery.

In her heavenly home, Mayra reunites with her beloved grandparents, Fidencio Gaytán Sr., Rita Escandon, Valentín Enríquez, and Eva Enríquez.

Left behind is a legacy of love and joy, survived by her parents: Fidencio Gaytán Jr. and Corina Gaytán; children: Kassandra Lusia Huerta, Norma Alejandra Hernandez, Benito Juan Hernandez, Ramon Isaac Hernandez, and Elijandra Claribel Hernandez; siblings: Eduardo Mora, Lysa Gaytán, Karina Ruelas, and Edgar Gaytán; grandchildren: Matteo Huerta, Jeremiah Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, and Beaux'J Huerta.

Mayra's unwavering faith, love, and generosity were felt by all who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family, found joy in cooking for loved ones, and stood as a prayer warrior for those she cherished.

Her enduring love and faith will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her presence.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m. at American Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Life Unlimited, officiated by Pastor Kris Bartley, followed by burial at American Heritage Cemetery.
