Edelmira R. Sanchez, aged 87, passed away on December 21, 2024. She is survived by her sons Baltazar Sanchez and Jesse Sanchez, daughters Gudelia Sanchez, Rosa Imelda Guevara, Maria S. Aguirre, and Yolanda Esquivel, along with one sister, Evodia Ramos, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Raymundo M. Sanchez, son Consepcion Sanchez, parents Rosa and Marcos Ramirez, and two grandsons, Gabriel E. Aguirre and Brian Sanchez.

Known for her compassionate and nurturing spirit, Edelmira was a devoted Catholic, finding solace in her faith. Described as a loving "mother" and "abuela," she dedicated her life to caring for her family, offering love, wisdom, and guidance. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and the aromas of her lovingly prepared meals. Edelmira's legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Viewing will be held at Lewallen-Garcia Pipkin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass services will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery. The honorary pallbearers include Baltazar Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Danny Aguirre, Michael Aguirre, Baltazar Jr. Sanchez, and Roberto Rubio. Those who wish to offer condolences may visit the Sympathy Store to send flower arrangements or plant trees in memory of Edelmira Sanchez.
