Midland, TX - Lucia Gonzales Rodriguez, aged 90, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 3, 2025. Born to Juan & Santos Gonzales on November 2, 1934 in Alice, TX, Lucia married Enrique McIntyre Rodriguez and raised 7 children. She worked as a security guard, house painter, and successful business owner.

Lucia loved to cook, sew, and dance. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, as well as playing slots, Bingo, and visiting casinos. She is survived by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home & Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Midland, TX.

The family expressed their gratitude to Midland Memorial Hospital and Heart to Heart Hospice.
