Maria Fuentez, born on November 15, 1970, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, peacefully passed away at her residence in Odessa, Texas, on January 8, 2025.

Fuentez is survived by her significant other, Andy Hernandez, her children Brittany Moore and husband June, Jasmine Rodriguez, Larry Fuentez and wife Blair, and Alex Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Soto.

Fuentez is also survived by her siblings: Jesse, Martin and wife Janie, Val and wife Savannah Soto, James Valdenegro and husband Rick, Becky, and Joe and wife Cynthia Soto.

A devoted grandmother, Fuentez cherished her grandchildren: Jamal, Jasmine, Jayla, and Jordan Moore, Matthew Rodriguez, Jace, and Camila Fuentez.

Known for her faith, kindness, and resilience, Fuentez inspired many. A Celebration of Life in honor of Maria Fuentez will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Lawndale Community Center, 9201 Rainbow Drive, Odessa, Texas, 79765.
