Salvador "Chapo" Gamboa Diaz, a resident of Midland, TX, passed away on January 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on September 13, 1945, in Por Venir, Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Ramon Gamboa and Amalia Diaz, Salvador will be deeply missed by those who knew him best.

He is survived by his daughter, Olga Gamboa; brothers, Alberto Gamboa and Luis Gamboa; sister, Maria Elena Gamboa, and numerous relatives and friends. Salvador's warm presence and generous spirit touched the lives of many.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00pm at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11:00am at San Miguel Arcángel Catholic Church, 1100 Camp St., Midland, TX, led by Father Patrick Akpanobong. Following the Mass, interment will take place at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6800 S. Hwy 349, Midland, TX.
