Midland - Diane Hough Brown, 92, of Midland, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 12, 2025, at her home. Born on March 26, 1932, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to August E. (Bud) Hough and Emmaretta E. Hough, Diane led a life of southern charm and grace. She was a devoted mother of four children and traveled the world as a Marathon Oil family with her late husband, Robert P. Scott, Sr.

As a proud member of the Episcopal faith, Diane was actively involved in her church community, serving as an organist and volunteering with the Altar Guild. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service, survived by her children, stepson, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity in Midland on January 21, 2025, followed by interment at the church's Columbarium. The family will host a reception in the Parish Hall after the service. Donations in memory of Diane can be made to the Endowment Fund at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity or a charity of choice.
