Essie Mae Eaden Called to Glory; Funeral Arrangements Announced

Essie Mae Eaden | Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home

Midland - Essie Mae Eaden, daughter of Mr. John Richard Hardison and Mrs. Willie Mae Hardison, passed away on January 13, 2025. Born on February 28, 1940, in Paris, Texas, Essie had siblings Patsy Johnson, Daisy McDonald, Richard Hardison, Dewayne Hardison, and Robert Johnson. A dedicated Christian, she graduated from Gibbons High School in Paris and worked as a nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital for thirty-eight years.

Essie was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, actively serving in various roles. She married Charles Wayne Eaden, with whom she had a son, Carlos Christopher Eaden. Essie is survived by her son, sisters, brother, and numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home, with the funeral service scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Serenity Memorial Gardens. To send flowers or plant trees in Essie Mae Eaden's memory, visit the Sympathy Store.
