Congressman August Pfluger from Texas' 11th district has expressed his support for President Trump's recent executive orders focused on energy. Pfluger praised the President's actions, stating they fulfill promises made to the American people and are a step towards enhancing America's energy sector.

"On day one, President Trump has already upheld several promises he made to the American people through decisive executive actions, including several actions to unleash American energy," Pfluger stated. "As the representative of the most prolific oil and gas producing region in the country, I commend President Trump's decision to utilize the rich energy and natural resources we are so blessed to have in this country, and to get rid of the regulatory burdens that have crippled so many businesses and Americans the past four years."

Pfluger believes these measures will lower costs for consumers and enhance national security. He described this period as "the golden age of American energy" and expressed eagerness to collaborate with President Trump on efforts to restore America's energy dominance.

The executive orders issued by President Trump aim to kick-start his America First Agenda by promoting domestic energy production. Key directives include declaring a national energy emergency, increasing rare earth mineral production, ending initiatives linked to the Green New Deal, streamlining permitting processes, supporting accessible energy across all states, restarting LNG project approvals, eliminating electric vehicle mandates from Biden's administration, withdrawing from international climate agreements like Paris Climate Agreement, and ensuring access to various household goods.

These initiatives reflect an emphasis on reducing regulatory constraints while promoting economic growth through consumer choice in energy-related matters.
