Midland, Texas - Jeffrey Allen Goertzen, 63, of Midland, Texas, sadly passed away on January 22, 2025, in Lubbock. Remembered as a great father and friend, Jeff touched the lives of many with his uplifting presence and helping hand. His ability to brighten any room and connect with others made him a cherished companion.

Jeff lived life on his terms and brought joy wherever he went, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. While the heavy hearts of his loved ones mourn his loss, they find solace in the belief that he is in the presence of Christ. Jeff will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of Jeff's life is scheduled for February 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Ziegler Funeral Chapel in Dodge City, KS, where family and friends will gather to honor his remarkable life and legacy.

Survived by his sons Josh and Austin Goertzen, Jeff is also remembered by his brothers, Scott March (wife Carla), Bob Talbott, Merle Talbott (wife Marilyn), and his sister Lisa Dubowski (husband Chris). He is preceded in death by his mother Faye Davenport, father Vern Goertzen, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jeff had two extended families, the Talbott’s and Davenport’s, who were 100% family to him.

Josh and Austin Goertzen express deep gratitude to family and friends for the comfort, support, and love offered during this time of sorrow. Their kindness and generosity have provided strength and solace during this difficult period.
