Midland, Texas - Vicenta S. Granado, born on January 23, 1938, peacefully entered eternal rest on her 87th birthday, January 23, 2025. Known as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, Vicenta's life was a testament to faith, kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

A Woman of Faith and exemplary servant of Jesus Christ, Vicenta embodied the qualities of a Proverbs 31 woman, inspiring all who crossed her path. Affectionately known as "Wela," she joyfully shared her skill in homemaking, crafting beautiful gifts for her family and instilling the value of service in her grandchildren.

With a heart for others, Vicenta diligently served at the Midland Soup Kitchen, showcasing her dedication to helping those in need and passing on the importance of service to later generations. Her prayer meetings and unwavering faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her, guiding countless souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Vicenta is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister, continuing her legacy of love, faith, and service. She is remembered for her many noble traits, surpassing all in her commitment to her family and faith.

A visitation will be held on February 1, 2025, at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home and Chapel in Midland, followed by a chapel service and interment at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Vicenta's memory will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
