A devoted believer and prayer warrior, Maria served as a co-pastor at La Biblia Abierta in Midland. She found solace in listening to praise and worship songs, reading the Bible, and sharing her faith with others.
Maria is survived by her children: Corina Tarin, Samantha Ramos (married to Nicolas Ramos), and Jeremiah Bennett Mancha; grandchildren: John Seth Franco, Nevaeh Rita Marie Mancha, Nicolas Adrian Ramos Jr., Miracle Faith Carmen Mancha, Kayla Danielle Ramos, Ethan Jeremiah Mancha, and Diego Isaiah Ramos; great-grandchildren: Kaliah Dior Richardson and Alayshia Marie Richardson. She is also survived by her brothers Reynaldo, Enrique, and Ricardo Bennett; and sisters Juanita Aguirre, Suzy Martinez, Mary Lou Bosquez, Ramona Valdez, and Margarita Bennett.
Preceding her in death were Augustine, Carlotta, Rudy, and Augustine Bennett Jr., and Lupe Alizondo.
A private viewing for immediate family will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin on January 28, 2025, followed by a public viewing from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. An evening service prayer is scheduled at 6 p.m. on January 28, 2025, at the funeral home. The funeral will take place on January 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin, with burial at Serenity Cemetery. Pallbearers include family members and loved ones.
