Midland, Texas - Felix Guitron Valdez, 68, of Midland, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Born on March 28, 1956, in Crosbyton, Texas, to Concepcion Sr. and Minerva Valdez, he was raised in McAdoo, Texas.

Felix met his beloved wife Nelda in 1978, and they were married in 1980. Together, they had three daughters and built a life filled with love and family. Felix worked in the automotive industry until his retirement in 2014, always ready to help others as a skilled mechanic.

He found joy in playing softball, golfing with his brothers, and attending sporting events with family. Felix cherished time with loved ones, whether watching classic TV shows, caring for his family as their trusted mechanic, or sharing moments with his "cat-son," Tiny. A devoted member of San Miguel Arc Angel Church, Felix was known for his caring nature and strong sense of family.

Felix is survived by his wife Nelda, daughters Estela Valdez-Castillo (Paul), Ester Valdez, Erica Valdez (Alvin), nine grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, grandmother, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Heavenly Gate, with a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at San Miguel Arc Angel. Felix will be remembered during the services officiated by Fr. Patrick Akpanobong.
