Midland - Robert Eugene Taylor, known affectionately as Bob, passed peacefully on February 2, 2025, transitioning from this life to the everlasting presence of Jesus Christ. Born on October 22, 1941, in Brownwood, Texas, to Jack and Elizabeth Taylor, Bob overcame physical challenges early in life, propelled forward by indomitable spirit and unwavering faith.

Bob's remarkable journey saw him excel in a distinguished radio career, residing across various states and contributing significantly to the field. His commitment to service transcended his professional life, with active involvement in his faith and a deep devotion to Jesus Christ. His faith journey began at age 12, shaping his character and becoming a guiding light in his endeavors.

In 2005, Bob found love with Rozann Hunter, embarking on a shared ministry that touched many lives. Together, they led the Agape Fellowship ministry in the Federal Prison in Big Spring for thirteen years, spreading Christ's love and compassion. His faith was evident in his volunteer work at First Baptist Church in Midland, where he served fervently, nurturing hearts and souls with grace.

Bob's legacy resonates through his family circle, encompassing his wife Rozann, children Lauri (Jack) Smith, Melani (Mike) Terrill, Paul Brock, Cheri Brock, Robert Taylor II, and Zachary Taylor, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. His commitment to family, faith, and service underscored his compassionate spirit and genuine selflessness.

Visitation for Bob will be held on February 6, 2025, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, with the funeral service following on February 7, 2025, at First Baptist Church Chapel in Midland. Pastor Darin Wood will officiate, honoring Bob's life and legacy. A final farewell will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Department of First Baptist Church Midland, reflecting Bob's legacy of faith and service.

Bob's enduring impact, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family and community will be cherished forever, resonating through the lives he touched and the hearts he uplifted. May his spirit find eternal peace with his Savior.
