Midland, Texas - Anna Elizabeth Ellis, age 70, of Midland, Texas, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born on June 9, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida, Anna was the proud owner and operator of a successful cleaning service for 25 years before retiring. Her marriage to John Edwin Ellis on August 9, 1979, brought them years of love and cherished memories.

Known for her kind and compassionate nature, Anna's care extended not only to her family but also to animals in need. She found joy in caring for homeless animals and treasured her beloved pets, Coco the bird, and Shelly Ann the kitten who held special places in her heart.

Anna found pleasure in the simple things in life, from solving crossword puzzles to crocheting, fishing, cooking, swimming, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family.

Survived by her devoted daughters: Kristin Ellis, Jennifer Ellis and her husband Greg Knapp, and Jessica Fields and her husband Ross Fields. She is also survived by her brothers Ricky and Eddy Windham, sister Sandra Shepheard and her husband Robert Kleiber, and nine grandchildren who brought her immense happiness.

Preceded in death by her parents Annie Mae Shaffer and Charles Farrell Windham, siblings Sharron, Mary-Ann, and Charles Jr., and her beloved husband John Edwin Ellis.

A memorial service is arranged for Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Ellis Funeral Home, providing a moment to remember and honor the life of Anna Elizabeth Ellis.
