Midland, Texas - Mary Ellen Pena, age 77, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Midland. Born on July 23, 1947, in Pecos, Texas, to Eliborio and Sarah Pena, she was survived by her four daughters: Monica Gomez, Erica Fuentes, Ann Morika Esparza and Nichollette Butler, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mary Ellen also leaves behind eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Ellis Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Johnny Paredes officiating. Graveside committal will follow at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Armando Pena, and sister Rebecca Pena.

Pallbearers for the service will be Jonathan Heredia, Jacob Heredia, Joshua Heredia, Seth Nichols, Noah Fuentes, Jaden DeSouza, and Christian DeSouza.
