Midland, Feb. 2, 2025 - Steve Moudy, a beloved figure in Midland, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Known for his passion for music, dedication to helping others, and service as a drug and alcohol counselor, Moudy's presence touched the lives of many.

Moudy, who served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was admired for his storytelling, memorable speeches, and commitment to guiding others towards self-improvement. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Moudy, four daughters, twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A talented musician, Moudy's love for playing bass and guitar resonated with those around him, as did his appreciation for classic rock bands like The Beatles and Yes. His commitment to recovery and his role as a mentor will be cherished by all who knew him.
