Midland, Feb. 9, 2025 - Robert Darrell Crudgington, a beloved member of the First Christian Church and a dedicated family man, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on January 26, 1974, in Breckenridge, Texas, Robert was known for his love for his family, community, and unwavering faith.

As a devoted husband of 25 years and father of 5, Robert cherished his role within his family, especially his wife, Sheila, and their children: Isaiah, Autumn, Simon, Destiny, and LeeAnna. With a career spanning 34 years as a diesel mechanic, Robert took pride in mentoring young professionals in his field and supporting fathers in the special needs community.

Renowned for his sense of humor and zest for life, Robert's presence touched many lives through his kindness and dedication. He is survived by his wife, children, sister Joy Ann Raines, brother-in-law Mark Kilgore, nephews, nieces, God children, and foster children.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 15, 2025, at First Christian Church in Midland, Texas, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sharing Hands, A Respite Experience, Inc. (SHARE), a local non-profit assisting families raising children with special needs. Contributions can also be directed to First Christian Church of Midland, where Robert and his family are active members. Floral arrangements are requested to be sent to the church, not to Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
