Michael David Jones | Nalley-Pickle & welch Funeral Home & Crematory
Born on February 15, 1955, Michael faced early challenges as a special needs child, but he never let his circumstances dampen his joy for life. Thriving under the care of organizations like Spectrum of Solutions, Michael flourished and embraced independence in his own apartment. His simple outlook on life and indomitable spirit endeared him to many, from pedaling around on his special bike to cheering on his favorite sports teams with enthusiasm.
With a legendary appetite and a penchant for Mexican food, Michael's zest for life was reflected in his love for sports, high-fives with the Midland Rockhounds mascot, and unyielding belief in Santa Claus. He approached each day with the innocence and wonder of a child, making every moment a cherished adventure.
Michael is survived by his three brothers, Hal, Ken, and Stan, along with nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is reunited in death with his parents Harold E. Jones and Anna Mae Jones-Franz.
A celebration of Michael David Jones' life will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at First Christian Church in Midland, with a private graveside service to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family expresses their gratitude to all who shared in Michael's joy and touched his life.
