Midland—Mindy S. Moreno, a beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 35. Born to Juan De Dios Vasquez and Melissa Barrientes on September 8, 1989, in Andrews, Texas, Mindy attended Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, graduating in 2009. She furthered her education at Odessa College, graduating in 2014 with a certificate in Cosmetology, and more recently attended Trendz Barber Academy in Lubbock, Texas.

Mindy married Ramon Moreno on October 8, 2016, in Odessa, Texas. Remembered for her vibrant personality, free spirit, and caring nature, Mindy was a dedicated hairstylist who had a passion for fashion, detail, and gardening. Her infectious smile, laugh, and love for animals, especially her fur babies, were truly special.

She is survived by her loving husband Ramon Moreno, father Juan Vasquez Jr. and wife Michelle, mother Melissa Gonzales and husband Danny Gonzales, siblings, nephews, nieces, grandparents, in-laws, and many more cherished relatives and friends.

Visitation and recitation of the rosary will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home in Midland, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Crestview Baptist Church, with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include family members and loved ones.
