Congressman August Pfluger of Texas has expressed strong support for Israel following the return of four hostages' bodies by Hamas. The hostages were murdered while in captivity, and their bodies were paraded through Gaza before being returned to Israel.

"Four innocent hostages were murdered in cold blood by Hamas while in captivity, and today, the barbaric terrorist organization proceeded to parade the victims' bodies through the streets of Gaza before returning them to Israel," Pfluger stated. He described this act as "heartbreaking" and a "sobering reminder that Hamas is a radical group with no value or regard for human life."

Pfluger affirmed Israel's right to defend itself against what he termed an "evil terrorist network" and called for American support. "Israel has every right to eliminate this evil terrorist network, and America must stand by Israel in full support," he said.

He also extended his condolences to the families of the deceased hostages: Oded Lifshitz, Shiri Bibas, and her two young sons. "Please join me in praying for the families and loved ones of the deceased hostages," Pfluger added.
