Midland, TX, Feb. 8, 2025 - Robert Earl Cooper, aged 52, of Midland, TX, peacefully journeyed to his Eternal Rest on February 8, 2025. Born on May 25, 1972, in Dallas, TX, to the late Robert Earl Cooper and Gussie Mills Cooper, Robert found his life partner Laticia in 2016, and the two united in marriage on July 24, 2021.

Renowned for his charismatic personality, Robert was a devoted husband and a remarkable father figure. His unwavering will and admirable character were a source of inspiration. Despite life's challenges, he remained steadfast. Robert had a passion for working on cars, carpentry, and renovating various items. Whether tinkering around the house or fishing on a leisurely day, he found solace in these activities. An active churchgoer, he partook eagerly in Bible study sessions. His culinary skills were also notable, with his wife attesting, "any man who can whip up gravy from scratch can undoubtedly cook."

Robert is reunited in peace with his parents, brother Bobby Cooper, and sister Bernice Cooper Campbell. Fondly remembering his legacy are his beloved wife Laticia G. Cooper, children Nujavia and Ashton Cooper, Dominque and Adarrian Cooper, grandchildren Wryland, Watkins, and Raehnyra, brother Lewis Amerson, sisters Patsy Amerson and Vella Hendricks, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home in Midland, TX, with Pastor Jamal Sampson presiding.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home and Chapel. Expressions of condolences can be offered at asancheztfh.com.
