Midland, Feb. 14, 2025 – Billy Andrew Sawyer, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Midland, Texas. Born on September 20, 1965, Billy led a life filled with selflessness, hard work, and boundless love for his family. Known for his ability to bring laughter and kindness wherever he went, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His commitment to supporting and caring for loved ones was unwavering, making him a pillar of strength in times of need. Billy took immense pride in watching his daughter, Hayley Sawyer, play soccer and found joy in shooting guns with friends. Traveling with his cherished wife, Lynne Hall Sawyer, allowed him to explore new places and create lasting memories together.

Survived by his wife Lynne, daughter Hayley, siblings Harold R. Ninemires, David Sawyer, Travis Sawyer, Joanna Glenn, and Wayne Sawyer, Billy's memory will be forever cherished by those who shared in his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Franciene Long and Cal Wayne Sawyer, Billy carried their legacy with pride and honor.

While Billy's passing has left a void, his spirit will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. His selflessness, love, and dedication will always be remembered.

A celebration of Billy's life will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch, 3800 N Big Spring St., 79705, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
