Randall Lenton (Randy) Smith was born on March 16, 1947, in Littlefield, Texas to Lenton Henry Smith and Dolora Daphne Wren Smith. A graduate of Texas Tech in 1969 with a degree in finance, Randy pursued a career in sales and sales management within the paper and printing industries. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 42 years, Jonell Tatum Smith, in 2013.

In 2014, Randy was blessed to find love again when he married Holly Elliott. They shared a love for travel and cherished quiet moments together. Randy found solace and joy in worshiping at Stonegate Fellowship in Midland and San Juan Mountain Church in Colorado. As a Gideon, he took great pleasure in distributing Bibles to school children and placing them in hotels, inviting contributions to the Gideons International, Lubbock Camp in his memory.

Survived by his wife Holly, stepchildren Carson Elliott and wife Haley, Forest Wallace and husband Mike, and Cody Elliott and wife Lacy, as well as sister-in-law Suzann Tatum Wells, nieces, nephews, and cousins, Randy's life was enriched by the love of his family, faith in God, and the support of friends.

The family expresses deep gratitude for the love and blessings they have received during their time of loss.
