The family of Gloria Alvarado announces her passing with deep sorrow. Gloria, a beacon of love, strength, and kindness, will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born in a small town believed to be Matador, Texas, Gloria was a devoted mother to her four daughters, serving as a source of unwavering love, support, and guidance. Her legacy of resilience, compassion, and familial devotion will continue to inspire those who cherished her.

Grounded in belief, Gloria's compassionate nature extended to all, evident in her volunteer work, acts of kindness, and attentive presence. Her ability to make everyone feel valued was a testament to her grace and benevolence, a rare gift that touched many lives.

Gloria is survived by her husband Jesus Alvarado and daughters: Christy Solis, Veronica Higby (Thomas Higby), Marlena Ramirez (Manuel Ramirez Jr.), and Jessica Cortez (Edward Cortez). She is also survived by her father, Jesus Mendez; brothers Raynaldo, Danny, and Martin Mendez; sisters, Janie Mendez and Anna Bernal. Gloria leaves behind twelve beloved grandchildren, as well as her loyal companion, Chico Alvarado.

Preceded in death by her mother, Maura Mendez, sister Lillie Evans, and other loved ones, Gloria's memory will live on in the hearts of those who held her dear.

A private memorial service will be conducted to honor and celebrate Gloria's life. Rest in peace, Gloria, your love was boundless, and your absence will be deeply felt.
