Devoted Texan Woman, Ann Adams, Dies at 83

Ann (Cotton) Adams, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 19, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 83.

Ann was born on March 29, 1941, in Jacksonville, Texas. She graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana and Abilene Christian College. Ann worked at Gulf Oil and later at Petroleum Strategies before dedicating herself full-time to her home and family.

On August 29, 1970, Ann married Otis Adams, with whom she enjoyed 54 and a half years of marriage. Ann is survived by her daughter Anda, Anda’s husband Randy, seven grandchildren, her brother, and sister-in-law.

A devoted Christian, Ann spent her life at Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland, Texas, serving Jesus and her community. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and dedication to family.

A joint memorial service for Ann and Otis will be held at Golf Course Road Church of Christ on March 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in her honor may be made to Waterstone Foundation.
