Omar Rivera, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Midland, Texas. Born on August 20, 1976, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, to Emeterio Rivera and Enedina Rodriguez, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Omar married Erika Rivera in 2011.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and extended family members. Omar was preceded in death by several family members including his grandparents and aunt.

Pallbearers for his services will include family members and close friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Willowbrook Funeral Home, with a Rosary scheduled for the same evening. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Bala Anthony Govindu.
