Joseph Calvin Evans, Sr. | American Heritage Cemetery Funeral Home Crematory
Joseph Calvin Evans Sr., 87, passed away peacefully at his home on April 10, 2025. Born on June 25, 1937, in Van Buren, Arkansas, he was the son of Joseph Calvin and Cara Jane (Dale) Evans. Joseph is survived by his five children, William Evans, Bobby Evans, Laurence Evans, Brenda Evans, and Vivian Evans Shaffer, as well as his sister, Geraldine Farmer, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Selida Joy Evans, son Joseph Calvin Evans Jr., his parents, and three brothers. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16th, and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th, at American Heritage Funeral Home, followed by burial at Ector County Cemetery. Joseph will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep love for family, and enduring work ethic.
