September 6, 1991: Birth of Midland High standout footballer

Born on September 6, 1991, Antwan Fontain Goodley Jr. hails from Midland, Texas, where he attended Midland High School. Known for his versatility, Goodley excelled as a wide receiver, cornerback, and kick returner during his high school career under head coach Craig Yenzer. He achieved significant recognition, being named first-team All-District 2-5A and All-Permian Basin, setting school records with 1,747 receiving yards and fastest 200-meter dash at 21.4 seconds. Transitioning to Baylor University for college football, he earned All-American honors with remarkable stats: 150 receptions, 2,366 yards, and 21 touchdowns. Goodley ventured into professional football, signing with NFL teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs before joining the Oklahoma Flying Aces in the National Arena League in 2024.
