Midland, TX – Victor Brenon, known affectionately as Vic, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Midland, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Born in Carthage, NY on September 8, 1934, Vic’s life was a testament to hard work, family values, and a deep commitment to service.

Childhood on the family farm instilled in Vic a strong work ethic and a sense of humor that stayed with him throughout his life. The values of honesty, family, and faith were the cornerstones of his upbringing, guiding him through the years with a solid foundation of character and kindness.

Family was at the heart of Vic’s life, and he found his true partner in Laura Janet Brenon (Janet), whom he married in 1957. Together, they raised a beautiful family of seven children, sharing in the joys of parenthood and embracing the importance of togetherness and love.

In his professional life, Vic dedicated over 35 years to Western Electric/Southwestern Bell/AT&T, known for his unparalleled work ethic, dedication, and leadership. Beyond work, Vic’s commitment to service knew no bounds. He actively volunteered with numerous organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, volunteer firefighting, and charity events like Christmas in April and Habitat for Humanity, leaving an indelible mark of selflessness and generosity in the community.

Vic’s charitable work extended from organized volunteer efforts to personal acts of kindness, as seen in his portrayal of Santa Claus, distributing gifts and joy to underprivileged neighborhoods. His boundless compassion and dedication to helping others made him a pillar of strength and support to those in need.

As family, friends, and the community say their goodbyes, Vic’s spirit remains alive in the memories, love, and lessons he shared. His laughter, kindness, and selfless service will be dearly missed, but his impact will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A viewing and rosary will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with a funeral mass on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by interment at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
