Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD had the highest enrollment among Ward County districts, with 2,181 students during the 2024-25 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.
Of all students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, 50.8% were boys, and 49.2% were girls.
Data also showed that most of the students were Hispanic, representing 68% of the Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD total enrollment.
Among the two districts in Ward County, Grandfalls-Royalty ISD ranked second in enrollment numbers with 157 students in the 2024-25 school year.
Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD roughly covers schools within Ward County with its main office in Monahans.
In the previous school year, Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD also had the largest number of students among Ward County districts.
