Carolyn Sue Courts, 71, of Midland, Texas, Passes Away; Remembered for Faith, Love, and Service

Carolyn Sue Courts, known as Sue, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in Midland, Texas, at the age of 71. Born on May 27, 1953, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her unwavering faith and love.

Sue was married to Keith for 52 years and raised their two children, Byron and Kelly. Together, they founded KC Pipe in 1989, where she served as CFO. Sue was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church, volunteering in various capacities and teaching children about faith. She also devoted her time to missions and served on the Board of Directors for Buckner International and Northrise University in Zambia.

Known for her love of shopping, bible study, and travel, Sue cherished time spent with friends and family. She became a beloved grandmother to five grandchildren, known affectionately as "Sue Sue." Her impact extended beyond her family, as she was a source of love, guidance, and faith to all who knew her.

Sue is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, sister, and brothers. The family expressed gratitude to Hospice of Midland, medical staff at MMH, caregivers, and countless friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Midland, Midland Memorial Hospital, and Buckner Children and Family Services of Midland. Honorary pallbearers will be Sue's grandsons.
