Leah Bejil | Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery

Leah Bejil, 61, of Midland, passed away on January 8, 2025. Born on March 21, 1963, in Coahuila, Mexico, to Benardino and Herculana Gamboa, Leah's life was dedicated to service and faith. She married the love of her life, Joe Bejil, in 1979, and together they raised three children: Jose Luis, Christopher, and Alexandria. Leah worked as a medical office administrator but found her true calling in serving God and her community.

A devoted disciple of Christ, Leah's selfless acts touched numerous lives. Her service in her church was a testament to her unwavering faith and commitment to helping others. She found joy in meeting the needs of those around her, embodying love, grace, and compassion in all she did. Leah was a shining example of faith in action, leading by serving and caring for others without hesitation or expectation.

Leah is survived by her husband, Joe Bejil; sons Jose Luis and Christopher, daughter Alexandria; father Benardino Gamboa; brother Efren Gamboa; sisters Raquel Diaz, Lisa Zaragoza, Ruth Onate, Noemi Reyes, Ester Marquez, Anna Frausto, and Judith Silva. Preceded in death by her mother, Herculana Gamboa, and parents-in-law, Jose and Brijida Bejil.

The family expresses gratitude for the support received during Leah's illness. Leah's legacy of faith and service will be cherished by all who knew her, as she now rests in the eternal victory of heaven. Funeral arrangements are under Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Sympathy can be expressed through floral arrangements or tree planting in memory of Leah Bejil.
