Mickey Lander | Nalley-Pickle & welch Funeral Home & Crematory
Mickey Lander, born on February 25th, 1942 in Big Spring, Texas, shared her life's journey with her husband Herman (JR) Lander, whom she married on December 31st, 1964 in Big Spring. She dedicated over 30 years to serving as a dental assistant for Randy Moore in Stanton, Texas, touching the lives of many through her compassion and care.
An avid enthusiast of all things Elvis, Mickey also found joy in her travels around the world, especially when accompanied by her loved ones. Her vivacious spirit and love for exploration endeared her to all who knew her.
Mickey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shandal and Santa Lander; daughter, Kresi JaNa Pylant; brother-in-law, Ronnie Deatherage; sister-in-law, Faye Wagner; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman (JR) Lander; parents, Henry and Dovie Pinkerton; brothers, Charlie and Kay Pinkerton; sister, Billie Jean Lightner; and sister-in-law, Josie.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have provided love, support, prayers, and kindness during this challenging time of loss.
