Midland, Texas - Amarien Amont Armendariez, born on April 8, 2002, to Jerrilyn and Johnithan Armendariez in Midland, Texas, transitioned to be with the Lord on January 28, 2025. He was known as a man of faith, love, and unwavering determination, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

A baptized member of Mount Rose Baptist Church in his youth, Amarien's faith was a cornerstone of his life's journey. A 2020 graduate of Midland Lee High School and former starting quarterback for the Rebels, he was admired for his leadership, resilience, and commitment both academically and athletically. Continuing his pursuits at Langston University, Amarien embraced new challenges with the same determination that defined his character.

His most cherished role was that of a loving partner to his fiancée, Iyanna Mancha, and a devoted father to his children, Azaraelya and Azarien Armendariez. Every moment spent with his family brought him immense joy, fulfilling his purpose and filling his heart with love.

Amarien's memory will forever be treasured by his family, friends, and community. His warm smile, generous spirit, and steadfast faith left a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched.

Reunited in heaven with his sister A'mya Armendariez, great grandparents, and other loved ones, Amarien leaves behind his mother, Jerrilyn Armendariez, father Johnithan Armendariez, fiancée Iyanna Mancha, children, siblings, grandparents, and great grandmother.
