Betty Maurine Fitts, a beloved member of the Odessa community, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at Odessa Medical Center. Born on May 3, 1945, in Cypress, Texas, Fitts will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering generosity.

Fitts married Loyd Oran Fitts, Sr. in 1977, and together they shared a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. Known for her welcoming heart and eagerness to help others, Fitts found joy in cooking, baking, and crafting, creating a home filled with warmth and laughter.

Survived by her two sons, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five siblings, Fitts leaves a legacy of kindness and love. She is reunited in heaven with her husband, parents, grandson, and siblings.

A viewing will be held on February 13th, 2025, at American Heritage Funeral Home, with a funeral service scheduled for February 14th, 2025. Fitts' gentle spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed in Odessa.
