Brenda Lee Yruegas | American Heritage Cemetery Funeral Home Crematory

Brenda Lee Yruegas, 60, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on February 20, 2025, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Born on September 27, 1964, in Iraan, Texas, Brenda lived life in her unique and spirited way, which she fondly referred to as "Brenda's Way." Known for her sharp sense of humor, friendly demeanor, and passion for cooking, Brenda touched the lives of many.

Brenda had a special affection for her chihuahua, Lori, who she pampered with homemade meals fit for a princess. She also shared a memorable love-hate relationship with her friend's dog, Alaska. Eric, her dear friend, was her partner in crime through life's adventures and challenges. She was deeply cherished by her family and had many treasured friends who adored her.

Survived by her children Jay Martinez, Noah Gomez, Ereal Urquidez (Gregory Dominguez), Kassandra Suchil (JD), and Mayra Arteaga (Hector), Brenda also leaves behind her siblings Vicente Tobar, Rogelio Tobar, Anna Flores, and Susie Tobar, as well as her beloved aunts, uncles, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her son, Christopher Rodriguez, grandmother Maria Yruegas, and several aunts and uncles, Brenda's warm humor, unwavering spirit, and love of cooking will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
