Returning to Midland, he joined the energy business. After aiding his father's 1988 campaign, he led a team buying the Texas Rangers in 1989. Elected Governor of Texas in 1994, he achieved consecutive terms. As President from 2001, Bush prioritized tax relief, education reform, healthcare improvements, and environmental conservation. Post-9/11, he focused on national security. Bush's commitment extended to promoting community service and supporting military personnel.
