George Herbert Walker Bush, the 41st president of the United States, passed away on November 30, 2018, leaving a legacy of public service and political leadership. Born into the affluent Bush family in Milton, Massachusetts, on June 12, 1924, Bush served as a Navy pilot during World War II before establishing a successful oil company in West Texas. His political career saw him in various federal positions, including ambassador to the United Nations and director of Central Intelligence. As president from 1989 to 1993, he played a pivotal role in the reunification of Germany, led the Gulf War, and signed significant bipartisan legislation.
