Midland - Linda Kahler, 68, of Midland, passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1956, in North Richland Hills to Jack and Nina Britt. Linda's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family, faith, and community.

A graduate of North Richland Hills High School in Fort Worth, Linda married Gary Kahler, her best friend, on June 21, 1975. Together, they embarked on a journey of building homes, founding Kahler Homes in 1979. The couple relocated to Midland in 1981, where they continued their legacy of service through Kahler Homes, leaving an indelible mark on the community.

Linda's faith in Jesus Christ was central to her life. A devoted member of Redeemer Church in Midland, she served as a mighty prayer warrior, offering love and support to all those she encountered. Her steadfast devotion to prayer and her unwavering compassion for others left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Kahler, and her parents, Jack and Nina Britt, Linda is survived by her son Aaron Kahler and daughter-in-law Lindsay of Buda, TX; daughter Caribe Smith and son-in-law Michael of Midland; grandchildren Ezra Kahler, Abram Kahler, Ava Smith, Lillie Smith, and Malakai Smith; sister Karen Glidden; and a host of family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm. The funeral service will take place the following day, January 28, 2025, at 10 am at Mid-Cities Church on TX-191, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In honor of Linda's memory, memorial donations can be made to Bynum School and the Redeemer Building Fund, reflecting her dedication to education and faith.

Linda Jean Kahler will be remembered for her deep love, genuine kindness, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
