Rhonda K. Smith passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on June 5, 1949, in Odessa, TX, to Ernest and Mildred Ullrich, Rhonda led a life filled with adventure and passion. From water skiing to amateur flying, she embraced life to the fullest.

A proud graduate of Monterey High School in Lubbock, TX, and South Plains College, earning an accounting degree, Rhonda went on to serve as the Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Lea County, NM. Her dedication to service and leadership left a lasting impact on those around her.

Rhonda was blessed with three children, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, her nurturing spirit touching many lives. A hardworking individual, her hands now find rest as she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived.

Preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Mildred Ullrich and her daughter Robin Kelley of Lubbock, TX, Rhonda is survived by her husband Troy, son Chris (Kendra) Kelley of Tyler, TX, daughter Rene (Billy) Dearing of Midland, TX, her cherished sister Brenda, and their loyal companion Jack.

Rhonda's love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed by many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know and love her.
