Bobby Alton Reeves, 80, Remembered as a Devoted Family Man

Bobby Alton Reeves, 80, passed away on April 16, 2025. Born on April 9, 1945, Bobby was the cherished son of A.C. and Myrtle Reeves.

Graduating from Midland High School, Bobby dedicated over 40 years of service to the Midland County Appraisal District. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, he rarely missed a game.

On October 24, 1981, Bobby married Shirley Reeves, creating a home filled with love and joy. He was a devoted husband, father, and a proud grandpa to seven grandchildren, finding immense pride in their growth and accomplishments.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, A.C. Reeves, mother, Myrtle Reeves, and siblings Alfred, Sybil, Charles, Billie Dale, Joan, Beverly, and Leroy.

Survived by his wife, Shirley Reeves, children Mary Wallis (Phillip), John White, Cody Reeves (Zoë), Crystal Langenberg (Jack), and grandchildren Savannah Marten, Madison Marten, Jeremiah Wallis, Geoffrey Wallis, Scott Marten, Theodore Reeves, and Eleanor Reeves.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, from 6-8 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch, with a graveside service on Tuesday, April 22, at 11 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Homeline Baptist Church of Midland.

The family expresses gratitude to Hospice of Midland and Legacy Ranch for their compassionate care.
