Beatriz Carrillo, known affectionately as Ticha, aged 85, of McCamey, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, in Midland, Texas.

Born in Villa De Fuente, Coahuila, Mexico, on December 26, 1939, to Epitacio and Blaza Sanchez, Beatriz moved to Eagle Pass, Texas, where she met and married her spouse, Juan Carrillo, in 1965. They settled in McCamey in 1968, where Beatriz enjoyed a simple family life, raising her two daughters and providing unwavering care and support to her family.

Alongside being a dedicated homemaker, Beatriz also worked at Benito’s Restaurant in McCamey for several years. Her loving and nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, encompassing her daughters, granddaughters, spouses, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She joins her husband Juan Carrillo, parents, great-grandmother Olegaria Calderon, and siblings who have passed on before her. Her cherished cat “Pretty” will dearly miss her presence.

In the words of her great-grandson, "Abuela and Abuelo are now together in Heaven after two years apart."
