Robert Dale Howland, affectionately known as "Skip," of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on June 26, 2024. Born on October 2, 1952, to Robert L. Howland and Joy L. McNew Howland, he married DeLois Kay Easterling/Howland on July 22, 1970. Robert worked on cattle ranches and as a welder, enjoying horseback riding and cooking on a chuckwagon.

He is survived by his wife, DeLois Kay Howland, daughter Michelle Crenshaw, daughter-in-law Kerri Howland, grandsons Oden Yanez and Skippy Howland, and great-granddaughter Aubery Groves. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Dale Howland Jr., and his parents.

In accordance with his wishes, there will not be a visitation, memorial, or funeral service. Arrangements are being managed by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences can be shared on their website.
