Richard (Rick) Butler, born on April 15, 1952, in Eastland, Texas, peacefully passed away on October 24, 2024, with his sister, Brenda Yowell, by his side. Richard attended Robert E. Lee High School and was an esteemed member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Survived by his loving sister Brenda Yowell, son Rick Butler II and wife Tina, grandchildren Kayla, T.J., and Abby, nieces, nephews, and numerous loved ones, Rick's memory lives on. He held a special place in his heart for his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and care.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Alton Yowell, a celebration of Rick's life will take place in Eastland, Texas, at a later date.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Encompass, Dr. J. Gil, Dr. A. Nur, Dr. Jain, and the Visiting Angels for their dedicated care.
