Early on the morning of November 9th, 2024, Mitchel Roy Hunnicutt passed away at the age of 70. He had bravely faced health challenges and was known for his infectious smile and love for making others laugh. Born in Bakersfield, California, Mitchel grew up in Denver City, TX where he met his wife, Pam. They married on January 4th, 1974, and had two children - Kim and Brandon. Mitchel leaves behind his wife Pam, daughter Kim, son-in-law JD Cramer, grandchildren Makenzie, Sutton, Cade, Blaze, and Haylee, along with other family members.

Mitchel worked in the oil industry and enjoyed spending time with loved ones, especially his grandchildren. His memorial donations can be made to the American Liver Foundation or Greenwood Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
