Midland, Texas - Leta Jean Stevens, born Leta Jean Richburg, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was 90 years old. A graveside service to honor her memory will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Resthaven Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m.

Leta Jean was born on November 2, 1934, in Childress, Texas, to J.D. and Oleta Richburg. She later moved to Roswell, New Mexico, where she married Robert Calloway Stevens and raised her children. Leta Jean had a successful career in telecommunications, retiring from AT&T. She was renowned for her hard work and dedication to providing for her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Scarlett Burkhart of Hurst, Texas, and son, Robert Doyle Stevens, and his wife Susan of Midland, Texas, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leta Jean is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
