Midland, Texas — Bobby Billhimer, a man of passion and curiosity, passed away on October 26, 2024, surrounded by the love and care of his family. Born on April 29, 1966, in Bethesda, Maryland, Bobby's life was characterized by his love for adventure, travel, and unique experiences. Bobby's journey with cancer was a courageous one, and his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Bobby's educational journey began in various locations, navigating through different schools during his formative years. As an adult, he ventured into the world of aviation and carved an impressive career at Delta Air Lines, where he spent 35 years creating unforgettable memories. His love for aviation extended beyond his work, as he collected die-cast models and harbored a fascination for unique aviation-related experiences around the world.

A man of ambition and resilience, Bobby faced the challenges of cancer with unwavering strength and determination, finding solace in his family, friends, and faith. His profound love for his family, including his wife, children, and grandchildren, was evident in every aspect of his life.

Bobby's spirit of adventure was exemplified through his bucket list, with destinations reflecting his love for travel and unique experiences. Though his journey was cut short, Bobby's zest for life and commitment to his dreams inspire all who knew him.

Bobby's legacy of love and gratitude lives on through his family, friends, and his dedication to others. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his generous spirit, and his unwavering love for those around him.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 14, 2024, to honor and celebrate Bobby's life at First Presbyterian Church in Midland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the "Uganda Water Wells" project in honor of Bobby's mother, Ramon B. Billhimer, can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Midland.
